ONCE IN A NIGHT TIME
Once in a night time
deep within, we could see
But so many so oblivious
will never know
their fondest dream
their deepest fear
was our invention
Tiny hope – (The mask we pretend we've never seen )
was crafted by only us
in time that no other passes within
but us
Their petty lifetimes and achievements
will be the extent of their capacity
And on and on
We’ll paint their dawn
and take their spawn
and soon be gone
