The Sun

It’s the ‘all-for-one’ - two, three…

Not everyone is on bended knee.

Falling out of synchronicity...

but the sun feels warm to me, you see?

It’s the ‘fall in line’…., six, seven, eight.
Shade so divine, don’t contemplate.
Blinding uniformity...
But the sun feels warm … you will see.

It’s the ‘lose yourself’, to X Y Z.
Check the time and forget to be
It’s sweet simplicity...
and the sun feels warm , we all agree.

Word is Bone

It’s starting again, you’re making enemies of friends.

You say you know before it begins… awful trouble; the web… it spins.

I’m exhausted, on my tip toes; always dodging your digs and blows.

You say you’re the one who knows, but it’s your emptiness that overflows.

More uncomfortable each new day; the anger, the bone… in all you say.

You say everyone else makes you this way; as you’re building a wall,

no time to play.

Your questions are statements, you don’t seek to learn.

You’re dictating the placement of who and how they burn.

You claim ownership without purchase…

you’re sinking my ship, from beneath the surface.

I’ve had to answer, how is this worth it? It’s like cancer in a static circus.

Once in a nighttime - automatic writing.

 ONCE IN A NIGHT TIME

Once in a night time

deep within, we could see

But so many so oblivious

will never know

their fondest dream

their deepest fear

was our invention

Tiny hope – (The mask we pretend we've never seen )

was crafted by only us

in time that no other passes within

but us

Their petty lifetimes and achievements

will be the extent of their capacity

And on and on

We’ll paint their dawn

and take their spawn

and soon be gone
