Hue of the Moment

Today Purple was broken,
the hurdle misspoken.
Lying tints of hints of free rent
But there's no free space in the place where I'm missing your face.

Yesterday, no orange star shining,
Just darkness blinding...
And the ache I can't shake when I'm awake
It wasn't fate,  just your mistake.

Right now yellow is hiding,
this mellow subsiding.
Not energetic, pathetic,
Forget it, don't fret it; be synthetic.

Tomorrow red is falling,
out the head and crawling.
Empty and rejected,
Completely discretely connected.

Blue, gasping... drowning...
The big picture resounding
Empty hands I stand on your stone.
Waves if sand chill me to the bone.

Hue today yesterday tomorrow,
I'm Blue this way that way to sorrow
Hue right now but I can see
The true colors bleed out from me

And the Hue that lifts us we can't see
It's the shade of infinity divinity
The hue that grows and won't fade
That knows and shades
The hue like a tree,
Part of you, part of me,
The hue to set us free.
